Although the Lakeside Village promises a unique and convenient residential experience, many students are forced to consider whether the glamor is worth the price tag.

From campus tours to coral reefs: UM leaps into virtual reality

On the third floor of the Richter library, visitors can take a tour of the campus, battle intergalactic warriors or explore coral reefs all through the power of virtual reality. Magic Leap, a spatial computing tech giant, partnered with the University of Miami to integrate virtual reality technology into campus life. The university now has over five Magic Leap virtual reality sets operating and open for visitor use.
