Photo and Visuals Editor Jared Lennon went to an intersection near the Coral Gables Community center to capture the scene on election day, where supporters for Democratic Nominee Joe Biden and incumbent President Donald Trump represented their candidates on opposing sides of the intersection.
Armed with their signs, strengthened by their voices, protestors gathered this past weekend in cities across the United States and the world to lament the Black lives lost at the hands of police and to call for a reckoning in the criminal justice system.
Founded in 1959, the Golden Knights travel across the nation, perform in freefall demonstrations and compete internationally. At the end of their season, the team travels to the Homestead Air Reserve Base to train and complete their Annual Certification Cycle.
