Duke Johnson erupts for four touchdowns in Canes’ 38-10 win

Freshman running back Randy “Duke” Johnson racked up 246 all-purpose yards and accounted for four touchdowns as the Miami Hurricanes defeated the Bethune Cookman Wildcats 38-10 in front of 39,435 fans at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The four scores is the most for any Hurricane in a single game since Tyrone Moss did it in 2005.

Miami dominated in 52-13 road loss to Kansas State

The offense fell silent and the defense fell victim to Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein as Miami was defeated by Kansas State 52-13. The loss marked just the sixth time in school history that the team had given up more than 50 points against an opponent.

Fresh faces set to take the field in Saturday’s opener

Students to get football tickets online

The Hurricanes athletic office has announced there will be a new method of obtaining student tickets for every home football game this season. Ray-Ray Armstrong dismissed from football team

The senior safety has been dismissed from the football team as of Wednesday morning. No reason was given, but the school, through a release, did state that Armstrong would be allowed to either finish his degree under scholarship at Miami or be granted a full release from the university.
