With ideal waves and wind movement all over the South Florida coast, it should come as no surprise that the sailing club holds that distinction.

Whether its Miami Beach or Biscayne Bay you can always find the sailors of the U practicing four times a week to hone their craft. Centered out of the Coconut Grove Yacht Club the Sailing Club practices with 8 Flying Juniors (FJ’s) but the majority of college events use different types of boats.
