UM alum and Chicago Bears punter Pat O’Donnell launched a 50-yard punt in the third quarter to Minnesota Vikings returner and UM alum K.J. Osborn, who was tackled by Chicago’s Deon Bush, also a UM alum.

This week’s scheduled matchup against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Hard Rock Stadium has been pushed back to Dec. 19 from its original date of Nov. 21. UM’s games at Wake Forest and at home against North Carolina, originally slated for Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, have both been pushed back one week to Dec. 5 and Dec. 12.

Dallas was given 18 carries, rushed for 41 yards, caught five passes for 17 yards and scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and one receiving, in a 37-27 Seattle home win over San Francisco.

Tight end David Njoku spent three weeks on injured reserve due to a sprained MCL. But he was reactivated in Week 6 and made his first major contributions since returning Sunday, catching two passes for 20 yards and scoring a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Cleveland Browns.

Hit with adversity before the game even began, the Canes (5-1, 4-1 ACC) struggled in some phases of the contest while excelling in others.

The Dolphins won 24-0 at Hard Rock Stadium, but likely future Hall of Fame running back Frank Gore led the Jets with 46 yards on 11 carries. Wideout Braxton Berrios caught a single pass for 18 yards, while tight end Chris Herndon didn’t log a stat.
