Students dance in the Grand Ballroom of the Shalala Student Center for the eight-hour long 2015 Dance Marathon, Carpe DM: Seize The Decades. In each hour of the marathon, a new decade of dance was celebrated, from prehistoric times to today. Filled with food, sumo wrestling, and performances from various student organizations, the event raised money to support children and families of the Nicklaus Children's Hospital. This year's donation goal was $20,000. Over the past few years, Dance Marathon at UM has had over 350 participants and raised more than $25,000 for Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
