UM ranks No. 48 in 2015 U.S. News and World Report

U.S. News and World Report ranked the University of Miami No. 48 in the 2015 edition of its “Best Colleges” list, released Tuesday.

UM is tied with the University of Florida, and shares the spot for the No. 1 college in Florida.

UM was ranked No. 44 in 2013 and No. 38 in 2012, the university’s highest ranking to date.

The University of Washington in Seattle and Yeshiva University in New York also ranked No. 48.
