Defining “fandom“
Fandoms is the term for a subculture made up of a group of people who share a passion for a topic, usually within pop culture, fiction or music. People in fandoms can obsess over even the smallest details and bond over them, whether in person or over the internet. Fans often create fanart, fanfiction (stories based on the characters or people the fandom surrounds) and even music.
