Students participated in the 2nd annual Spelling Bee competition hosted by United Black Students at the Rathskellar last Wednesday night. A group of girls from Hecht McDonald Tower floor 5 took first place, followed by the joint efforts of Sigmma Lambda Gamma and Sigma Lambda Beta in second place and finally NSBE in third place. First place prize included a trophy and joint pizza social with UBS and the winners.”It’s a lot of fun and every year we hope to gain even more participation and improve this already great event,” said senior Marquise McCoy, co-chair of UBS.
