IN YOUR HONOR: U.S. Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, the first Hispanic woman and Cuban-American elected to Congress, discussed the topic of U.S.-Israel relations in honor of the countries’ 60-year diplomatic relationship. Ros-Lehtinen, who spoke at the Whitten Learning Center, earned her doctorate at UM and currently serves as a ranking member on the House Committee of Foreign Affairs.
