Former President Bill Clinton signed about a thousand copies of his latest book, “Giving” on Sept. 6 at Books & Books in Coral Gables.
People lined up as early as 1 p.m. the day before. The event was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. He didn’t arrive until 8:20 a.m. Clinton was there for three hours and signed all of the books.
“There are not many people I would stand in line for. Bill Clinton is one of them,” said Linda Weiner, 43, a Miami Dade Public Schools teachers.
