The battery-powered Segway, a two-wheeled platform that uses computers and tilt sensors to stay balanced, have been in use by the UM police since earlier this semester. In late March they were used as part of Jaywalking Education/Enforcement Day on Ponce De Leon Boulevard, U.S. 1 and Stanford Drive.
