In the “Ethics Society’s debate team.” story that ran in the Jan. 23 issue, the story should have included that he team came in second place “on a point basis” to qualify for the national competition. Also, the students were not in Elisah Lewis’s UMX class. Furthermore, participants can use note cards in the Arsht Ethics Debates at Sports Fest, but not in the National Intercollegiate Ethics Debate.
