TODAY (Oct 3)
Category 5 will be selling tickets to the Maryland football trip at 7 a.m. in the UC lower lounge. Tickets will be sold to students on a first come, first serve basis. Students are asked to be ready in preferred groups of four to purchase their tickets by hotel room.

The Toppel Career Center will be hosting a Creative Careers Program geared towards architecture, creative writing, graphic design and other “creative majors” at 6 p.m. in the Toppel Library. Panelists will discuss ways to channel your creativity.

WEDNESDAY (Oct 4)
In recognition of National Depression Screening Day, the Counseling Center will be holding free screenings and giveaways in the UC Breezeway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Freshman 15 got you down? Then come to Wellness Center classroom two from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for an interactive program on how to lose those pounds and keep them off. Students can register for this free class by calling 305-284-5433.

The CAC will be screening Match Point at the Cosford Cinema at 8 and 10 p.m.

THURSDAY (Oct 5)
Patio Jams presents the Down Home Southernaries from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the UC patio.

Slide Hampton and the Frost School of Music concert jazz band will perform a tribute to the legendary Dizzy Gillespie from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Maurice Gusman Concert Hall as part of Festival Miami. Tickets are $30 general admission and $10 for students.
