TODAY SEPTEMBER 12

Today is the deadline to register for the Wellness Center’s CHAMP Challenge. Participants earn “miles” every time they work out at the Wellness Center in an attempt to make it from L.A. to Miami in time for the Super Bowl (a total of 3,541 miles). Registration forms may be filled out at the fitness room desk in the Wellness Center.

The Hispanic Navy College Tour stops at UM from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the UC Rock. Sponsored by Hurricane Productions, the event will feature a flight simulator, rock-climbing wall, free food and drinks.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 13

Interested in studying abroad? Check out the Study Abroad fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UC main lounge and learn about exciting programs being offered by the office of International Education and Exchange Programs. Refreshments will be provided.

The CAC will be screening The Little Mermaid at the Cosford Cinema. Showtimes are at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. and are free with a ‘Cane Card.

RAB and Hurricane Productions will be hosting Spoken Word Wednesday at the Rat from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come enjoy the sounds of DJ Mag and support your local Miami poets. Space is limited, so come early to sign up. Free admission.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 14

Patio Jams presents Please Please from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the UC patio.

Live music from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Wesley Coffeehouse across from Mahoney/Pearson. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be served. This event is open to the entire UM community.
