Women’s Golf

North Carolina State shot a final round 295 to win the Papa John’s Collegiate Golf Championship at Don Shula’s Golf Club in Miami Lakes. The Wolfpack shot a three day total of 892 to win by four strokes.

The University of Miami finished fourth after shooting 297 in the final round, for a three day total of 901. The Hurricanes were led by Josie Shinn’s fifth place finish. She shot a final round 73 for a three day total of 223.

Christina Jones of the University of South Florida won the individual title by seven strokes, finishing in two-under 214.
