FIGHTING FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

Singer and world-renown rock star Bono from U2 recently challenged the United States to give an additional one person of the budget to the world’s poor. The speech, made at the National Prayer Breakfast, addressed President Bush and Congress and quoted passages from Islamic, Jewish and Christian texts.

Author and best-seller James Frey, who penned the tale of a drug addict in A Million Little Pieces has suddenly been dropped by his literary entertainment manager. His manager states that she dropped Frey because he was broke the trust and admitted to having only spent a few hours in jail, along with fabricating other parts of his novel, after being questioned by website The Smoking Gun.
