Needing a statement win in a conference road game, the men’s basketball team escaped with an 84-78 overtime win over Florida State Sunday night in Tallahassee.
Robert Hite led the charge for UM with 29 points, six in overtime, and Guillermo Diaz clinched the victory with a three-pointer as the shot clock expired with 19 seconds left in OT.
