Romero Britto Gallery on Lincoln Road will host a special event to promote the awareness of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital from 7 to 9 p.m.

Toppel Career Center presents a panel presentation for those interested in the health care field at 5:30 p.m. Highlighted fields include physicians, nurses, physical therapists, physician’s assistants and pharmacists.

United Black Students is sponsoring a program titled “Diversity 101” in the I-Lounge at 8 p.m. All are welcome to join the class and learn about diversity.

Kanye West performs at the UM Convocation Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Big Brothers and Big Sisters will have an informational meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. in UC 245 for anyone interested in acting as a mentor and friend to a child.

Hurricane Productions and the Rathskeller Advisory Board are hosting Spoken Word from 8 to10 p.m. in the Rathskeller. The event is hosted by Punch, the sounds of DJ Aspect and features local Miami Poets. Come early to sign up. Admission is free.

THURSDAY

At 6 p.m. at Miller Center room 105, Mr. Aaron Sagui, Consul of Public and Political Affairs of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico, will give an update on current Israeli events. It focuses on the situation in the country post-disengagement and is followed by a question and answer session. The event is sponsored by Shalom UM. Refreshments will be served.
