Hurricane Productions presents Dave Coleman, “the real Hitch,” as he speaks on relationships on the UC Patio at 7 p.m. The movie Hitch will be playing afterwards.

Join Hispanic Heritage Month for a student/faculty breakfast at the Rathskeller beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Festival Miami presents principals of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra: Alexei Sviatlovskiy, concert master and Sergei Pechatin, principal cellist, join the Frost School of Music’s Paul Posnak. The event will last from 8 to 10 p.m. at Gusman Concert Hall and student tickets can be purchased for $8.

THURSDAY

Former Miami Herald columnist Jim DeFede will join specialists on media law, ethics and community relations to speak about his firing, and there will be an open question session with each of the speakers at this free forum. The event takes place in the School of Communication Courtyard from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

Come out and laugh at the kickoff of the month comedy series sponsored by the Rathskeller Advisory Board, featuring Daniel Tosh. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Rat.
