UPDATE

According to The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte women’s basketball Head Coach Katie Meier will interview with the University of Miami for a second time early this week. The Hurricanes are looking for a replacement for Ferne Labati, who was fired after a 13-16 season, the team’s first in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Meier, 37, is considered to be the top candidate for the vacant position.

An announcement of whom Miami chooses to hire is expected to come later this week. The Hurricane will continue to provide updates as they come.
