UMNEWS – Yearbook wins coveted award

The 2004 Ibis yearbook won the Gold Crown award-the highest honor for college yearbooks-at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association College Media Adviser Convention in New York City. Only one other university won the prize. The Ibis was also awarded the Big Apple award, which goes to the top book out of the 500 or so entered in the competition. Last year, the Ibis had earned the Silver Crown distinction.
