TODAY – Feb 4

The Miami International Film Festival starts today, with many films being screened at the Bill Cosford Cinema.

As part of the Third Annual MBA and Law Day, there will be two informational sessions on applying to the UM Master of Business Administration and School of Law. The panel presentation will be from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in the School of Business Storer auditorium and the networking information session will be from 12:15 to 3 p.m. in the Storer auditorium lobby. Dress is casual.

The Wellness Center is accepting registration for indoor soccer and water polo leagues. The deadline is Feb. 7 and the captains’ meeting will take place on Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. for indoor soccer and 5:30 p.m. for water polo.

The Department of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) is now accepting applications for the Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) executive board. Applications can be picked up at MSA, Bldg 21-P and are due Feb. 23.

SATURDAY – Feb 5

Classic Posters of the Belle Epoque, a new exhibition at the Lowe Art Museum, will be on display through April 3.

The UM Equestrian Team will host a horse show at Tropical Park. Riders will ride against UF, FSU, UCF and others. Event is all day and free to students, faculty and families.

SUNDAY – Feb 6

The tailgate party for women’s basketball vs. Virginia Tech starts at 2 p.m. outside the students’ entrance to the Convocation Center.

MONDAY – Feb 7

Career Exploration Week kicks off today from 5:30 to 7 p.m at the Toppel Career Center.
