Trying too Hard to Be Political
Don’t forget tonight is the Debate Watch party at the Rat Patio Area from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Open only to the University of Miami, join fellow students, faculty and staff to watch the Presidential Debate on live screen feeds from the Convocation Center. Combined with free food and Grammy Award-winner Jill Scott and Grammy Nominee Vanessa Carlton, the event promises a fun time.

ROCK THE VOTE CONCERT CANCELLED…
The Rock the Vote concert set to be on the UC Patio from 12 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct.1. has been canceled. So forget about seeing Wlyde Bunch, Ben Jelen and Sarah Hudson.

So Much For Attraction!
So all this political-ness was supposed to attract attention to the University. Unfortunately now that all eyes are on UM, campus looks like shit. Mud-lots, the Lowe boarded up and a 12-foot- high cyclone fence, so attractive, what a great photo opportunity.

Oh yeah….wear the card!
