WHAT TO WATCH FOR
At 3 to 4 weeks:
– a sore at genitals, rectum or
mouth
– swollen lymph nodes
At 4 to 10 weeks:
– non-itchy, reddish, spotty
rash may appear anywhere
on body
– other symptoms may include
headache, fever, fatigue, loss
of appetite, sore throat and
muscle aches
At 1 year to decades later:
– arthritis
– damage to brain, nerves,
eyes, heart, bones and liver
