The Rathskeller, originally supposed to close in spring 2009, will remain open the rest of the spring semester and more than likely into the fall semester as well.

Construction on the new Student Activity Center is being delayed one year due to the current credit crisis, meaning the university’s Rathskeller will remain open until that time, according to vice president for Student Affairs Patricia A. Whitely.

The Rathskeller will stay open until the start of spring break, Mar. 13, vice president for Student Affairs Patricia A. Whitely announced to Student Government Senate Wednesday afternoon.
