Though this description seems to incorporate everything necessary in a starting quarterback, on the other side of the ball the linebacker unit is charged with holding up many of these responsibilities. With Miami’s history of producing several NFL-quality linebackers over the years, the position will once again be expected to be a major contributor once the games begin.

UM has its own team barber, 23 year old Steven Rivera. While some players like redshirt freshman safety Vaughn Telemaque and sophomore wide reciever Travis Benjamin refuse to cut their luscious locks, over half the football team goes to Rivera.

Randy Shannon managed the game properly and the Canes did not over look this weak opponent. He substituted players in properly and gave the second and third string a fair chance.
