Hailing from a Staten Island, Italian family, transfer student Jodie Dellaventura’s road to the University of Miami has been anything but ordinary.

In the pantheon of American musical theatre, few works match the color and joy of Hello, Dolly! Between April 22 and May 2, the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre will host the University of Miami theatre department’s production of the beloved musical.

From the start, Dog Sees God is attention-grabbing, upfront, and honest. Coupled with sexual experimentation, drug use, eating disorders, and violence, the beloved Peanuts characters are back in action in the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre’s production of Dog Sees God.

A beloved comic strip classic is coming to life at the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre this month when the University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts’ production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown hits the stage. The Tony Award-winning musical begins its run Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. and continues until March 7.

There’s only one classroom on campus where students are trained to be seductive showgirls and flamboyant fellows: the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre. But the Ring’s production of Cabaret has a lot more depth to it than the cleavage of a bustier.
