On Thursday, the Florida State Senate Judiciary Committee concludes a series of hearings held across the state on a bill by the committee’s chairman, Sen. Scarborough (D-Jacksonville) to lower the age of legal adult majority in Florida to the age of 18 years.

Just the other day my friend turned 21. I always thought the drinking age being 21 was absolutely ridiculous but seeing him make the transition changed my mind.
