“Blue Valentine” may very well be the best movie that almost never made it to a theater near you. The film, written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, is about the complex relationship of a married couple, tracking their turbulent history as they try to salvage their failing marriage. It was initially given an NC-17 rating by the MPAA last year, drawing fierce criticism that challenged the authority of the movie industry’s rating board.

A former Miami resident himself, Daniel Tosh was clearly not afraid to offend the community at The Fillmore on Saturday, saying sarcastically, “let’s just watch 30 for 30 and pretend it’s the 80’s”.
