University of Miami alumni, Kevin Peterson, makes it through the “electric eel” obstacle, part of Tough Mudder, which took place on Saturday morning at Miami Homestead Speedway. Peterson participated in the obstacle course with a group from Veteran Student Organizaitons (VSO). Tough Mudder is a 12-mile obstacle course that raises money for the Wounded Warriors Project. To date, participants have raised over $5 million. All of proceeded go towards support programs for thousands of warriors returning from the battlefield. The obstacles were designed by British Special Forces are are tailored to test physical ability as well as mental toughness.
