Children gather during the butterfly release ceremony after a 5k walk around the University of Miami campus during the Out of Darkness walk on October 24, 2010. Out of Darkness Community and Campus events help raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in order to prevent suicides. Most of the volunteers were from Florida International University and surrounding communities. Participants and groups that raised over $150.00 recieved a T-Shirt. Over 700 people walked in order to spread awareness on the issue and to show support for friends and loved ones. The event raised a total of $31,997.54.
