The Delta Gamma and Delta Phi Epsilon sorority teams participate in Spike for Mike, a fundraiser held by the Sigma Chi fraternity in honor of Mike Bakutes, a brother on medical leave this semester. Bakutes was diagnosed with Juvenile Ossifying Fibroma, a rare tumor originally found in his jaw. Spike for Mike began in the heat of morning on Sunday, October 3 at 10:30a. The greek community came together to play beach volleyball at the Sigma Chi house and Mahoney Residential. Special Spike for Mike T-shirts were also sold at the event to raise money.
