University officials gathered outside of the Richter Library on Friday to dedicate the Edward T. Foote II University Green. In his speech, President Foote referred to the event as, “one of the most beautiful moments of my life.” During his tenure, Foote helped to transform the Coral Gables campus into what it is today in terms of both landscape and academics. “Tad” Foote served as President of the University of Miami from 1981-2001.
