The Great Give Away Clothing Drive, organized by senior Kemy Joseph in conjunction with the University of Miami’s William R. Butler Center for Volunteer Service and Leadership Development, has collected 5,000 articles of clothing. Students who donate five articles of clothing to the drive receive a free URAwesome t-shirt designed by Joseph. The drive will last until Wednesday, Nov. 11, hoping to reach the goal of 10,000 articles of clothing, which will be donated to impoverished Miami-Dade residents Nov. 14 as part of World Kindness Day celebration.
