Teams race at Mountain Dew Invitational
The men’s and women’s cross country teams finished ninth and seventh, respectively, Saturday morning at the Mountain Dew Invitational at the University of Florida.
Senior Vincent Giambanco ran a team-best time of 27:23.63 in the 8K race, while junior Ena Leufroy led the women with a time of 19:14.39 in the 5K for 26th place.
The host Gators won the team competitions and the men’s individual title, as senior Jeremy Criscione ran the 8K race in 24:38.75.
Miami returns to action at the Florida Runner Invitational in Titusville, Fla., on Oct. 4.
