TODAY (Sept 29)
Calling all iPod addicts and OSX junkies! John Allen, senior systems engineer for Apple, will be holding a workshop showcasing new Apple products from 9 to 11 a.m. in Flamingo Ballrooms A and B. Register at http://snipurl.com/applenews.

The Rathskeller Advisory Board will be kicking off its comedy series with a Belly Bust show at the Rat from 7 to 11 p.m. featuring Miss Pat and Cleto Rodriguez.

SATURDAY (Sept 30)
This year’s Gandhi Day of Service will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registered volunteers should report to the UC Rock at 8 a.m.

The gala opening for this year’s Festival Miami will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Gusman Concert Hall. General admission tickets run from $10 to $30.

SUNDAY (Oct 1)
Familia Rodante will be screened at the Cosford Cinema at 3 p.m. Admission is free with a ‘Cane Card.

MONDAY (Oct 2)
A forum on the indigenous populations of Latin America will take place in Flamingo Ballroom B at 7 p.m. as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Wellness Center will be holding the second part of its meditation series, “The ABCs of Meditation,” in the Wellness Center conference room from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Only participants who attended the first part of “ABCs” may register for this free class by calling 305-284-5433.
