TODAY

Applications to be a UM alumni ambassador are due by 5 p.m. today.

Canes Night Live presents “Cinco de Mayo Comes Early This Year” from 6 to 10 p.m. on the UC Patio. Come out to eat traditional Mexican food and watch Three Amigos, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Chevy Chase.

SATURDAY

The Black Awareness Month Gospel Explosion event will take place on the UC Patio and begin at 7:30 p.m.

Go for Zucker: An Unorthodox Comedy, a film that won six German Oscars, premieres on campus at 8 p.m. at the Cosford Cinema.

SUNDAY

Hurricane Productions and the Rathskeller Advisory Board will host a Super Bowl party with free food at the Rat from 5 to 9 p.m.

MONDAY

Learn how use contacts to get a job or internship at the “Networking Made Easy” seminar, which will be held in the Toppel Career Center library beginning at 2 p.m.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters will be holding an on-campus orientation for interested students in UC 245 from 7 to 8 p.m.

TUESDAY

Representatives from General Electric will be on-campus as a part of “GE Day at UM” looking for students interested in internship and job opportunities. Session 1 will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Session 2 will be from 2 to 3:30 pm in UC Flamingo Ballroom A.
