As the craze for game shows continues, four people have been jailed in Spain for hosting a game show in which callers trying to solve a simple riddle were left on hold for an extended length of time, forced to pay the fee of one euro ($1.30) per minute. The company, Telesierra, was apparently making about $6.5 million until complaints came in.

Island for Sale

What is the world coming to when Mel Gibson can buy Mago Island, a part of the Fiji Islands, from the Tokyu Corp. for $15 million? Although Mel has his own island estate villagers are upset as they saw their ancestors were forced off the island. Lawsuit, maybe?

Deaths

For those of you who didn’t know, esteemed author Hunter S. Thompson died two weeks ago. Last week, his wife claimed that he committed suicide while she was on the phone with him.
